Suffix Words Activity -ing -ed -er -est

Children will learn to make new words using the –ing, -ed, -er and –est suffixes.  They will turn over a root word and a suffix to make a new, real or fake word.  The root words included are words where no change is needed to their spelling.  Simply print, laminate and then cut out the cards!

•Suffix ‘Flip and Write’ activity mat
•Root word cards x 64 (8 pages)
•Suffix cards for –ing, -ed, -er, -est (2 of each word on 1 page)
•Recording sheets x 2
