Blank CVC Segmenting Activities

This phonics segmenting activity is linked to children’s interests and is perfect for your continuous provision, groups or intervention work! Children choose a CVC picture card and segment each sound as they move a small toy across the images on the mat. They then write or add magnetic/wooden/printed letters to create a CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) word on the phonics mat/sheet - a great way to learn to segment to spell!
