Apostrophes for Contraction Write the Room Activity

Your class will learn to use apostrophes for contractions with this fun write the room activity!  Children will search for word cards and then record the matching contraction on their recording sheet.  Amazing hands-on learning for your English lessons!
 
The following are included:
•24 pairs of colourful word cards
•3 differentiated recording sheets: children record 6/12/24 matching contractions on their sheet, using apostrophes for omissions.
•Words for the children to change to contractions are: I am, I have, we will, she is, you are, he had, it is, I will, cannot, they have, do not, that is, are not, when is, should not, you had, who is, does not, would not, you will, could not, what is, was not, she would.
