2D Shape Playdough Mats

Teach children to name and describe 2D shapes with this fun maths activity!  Includes three levels of difficulty; from making shapes with playdough, to matching with plastic or wooden shapes and finally drawing the shapes themselves.  FUN hands-on learning for the classroom or at home!  Simply laminate so that the mats can be used again and again!
 
The following are included:
•12 playdough mats (2 mats per page): make either the outline or the whole shape using playdough;
•12 playdough and shape matching mats (1 mat per page): make the shape using playdough and find matching 2D shapes (from your class shape set);
•12 playdough, shape matching and drawing mats (1 mat per page): make the shape using playdough and find matching 2D shapes.  Then have a go at drawing the shape.
